To start a new website, you first need to choose a domain name, and register it with a domain name provider such as our recommended one 1stdomains.co.nz
When registering with first domains, they try to offer you a few extra options, do not select them, as they will not be needed if using our hosting plan.
Once you own the domain name you can then setup a hosting plan using the domain name.
Once your account is created you will receive instructions on how to upload files (if you have a site to add), and the name server information which you need to enter in your domain name configuration at 1stdomains (after deleting the existing default records that 1stdomains entered as a place holder), these name servers are needed to point to your hosting accounts web space, so that your domain name works with your site.
After a while (up to 24 hours, usually less) your site should start to show up when using your domain name.
You can use the site builder apps in the cPanel to build a new template based website.
